Malé, Maldives – Ooredoo Maldives Plc has announced that their Annual General Meeting for the year 2020 is scheduled to be held on March 2nd.
The meeting is to be held on March 2nd at 20:30 via the “Fahi Vote” portal of Maldives Securities Depositaries (MSD). The registration forms for those taking part in the annual meeting have to be submitted before February 28. Registrations can be submitted via the infinity portal; infinity.mv, or can be mailed to investor.relations@ooredoo.mv. All the registration documents are available from the company’s website.
The announcement released by the company read that those who were shareholders of the company as of February 15, can take part in the meeting and that only the above mentioned people can be a part of the company’s profits as well.
Ooredoo Maldives Plc had announced in February 8, 2021 that the Board of Directors of the company had approved to recommend a dividend of MVR 2.34 per share as the dividend for the year 2020 to the Shareholders’ for approval,
Ooredoo Maldives had reported a profit of MVR 407 Million in its 2020 Audited Financial Statements approved by Board of Directors on February 1, 2021, which is MVR 181 million lower compared to the 2019 profits reported by the company.
The company had distributed a dividend of MVR 3.30 per share after the shareholders gave approval during the AGM which was held on March 2, 2020.
