GDh. Atoll , Maldives — Dr. Abdul Samad Memorial Hospital has reported that an additional positive case has been recorded from the island today.
According to the hospital this was from an exit sample taken from a person who had completed home quarantine. Recently, Covid-19 cases from Thinadhoo, in connection to the Aviation Cluster were also recorded.
Health Protection Agency (HPA) had removed the monitoring status from GDh. Thinadhoo effective yesterday stating that no further reason was found to extend the monitoring status imposed on February 7.
