Male’, Maldives— An American multinational diversified hospitality company, Marriott International has appointed Ali Nihad as its new Market Director of Sales and Marketing for Maldives.
The newly appointed Nahid has experience in the tourism industry for over 20 years and has previously worked along with brands such as The St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort, Anantara Resorts Maldives, W Maldives as well as AAA Hotels & Resorts in Maldives.
Initially he working at the Ritz-Carlton Reserve, Mandapa, a 5 star hotel in Indonesia as the Director of Sales & Marketing before he moved back to Maldives and took up the job as a Market Director of Sales and Marketing at Marriott.
The multinational company Marriott currently has 5 luxury resorts in Maldives — The St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort, JW Marriott Maldives Resort & Spa, W Maldives, The Westin Maldives Miriandhoo Resort, Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort & Spa. Along with this, Marriott is expecting to soon open two new resorts, Le Méridien Maldives Resort & Spa and The Ritz Carlton, Fari Islands in Maldives.
