Covid-19: Daily stats at 153!

Malé, Maldives – Health Protection Agency (HPA) statistics have revealed that 153 additional cases of Covid-19 have been recorded in the Maldives today.

According to the data revealed, out of the new cases identified within the last 24 hours, 132 cases were from Malé city, which which the most populous area in the country.

While 13 cases were recorded from other inhabited islands of the country, 3 additional cases were discovered from live aboard sea vessels and islands under development respectively.

With this, the total number of Covid-19 cases recorded in the Maldives has risen to 21,819, out of which, 19,342 have made full recoveries. Among the 2,406 active cases, 126 patients are receiving hospitalized care. Unfortunately, the country has lost 64 individuals to the coronavirus thus far.
