Abu Dhabi, Maldives – Etihad Airways, the national carrier of the UAE, launches a quarantine free on arrival offer to Maldives.

Travellers can book their tickets any time between March 25 and 31, 2021 to enjoy return fares starting from AED1,995 in Economy and fly from Abu Dhabi to Maldives until 30 June 2021.

Twice weekly flights to Nairobi will recommence on 4 May 2021 as Etihad gradually resumes services to more destinations across its global network.

Flying to, from, and via Abu Dhabi is supported by the airline’s fully redesigned sanitisation and safety programme, Etihad Wellness, which ensures the highest standards of hygiene are maintained at every stage of the customer journey.

This includes specially trained Wellness Ambassadors, a first in the industry, who have been introduced by Etihad to provide essential travel health information and care on the ground and on every flight. The airline provides complimentary Covid-19 insurance to all passengers until 30 September 2021.

Etihad requires its passengers to show a negative PCR test before departure, and on arrival in Abu Dhabi.

Tickets to Maldives can be booked at the Etihad website.

Maldives offers a wide array of world renowned luxury resorts, white sandy beaches with azure waters and beautiful reefs brought alive by colorful schools of fish dancing through the corals.

All travellers to the Maldives, excluding Maldives citizens, must present a negative COVID‑19 PCR test result, conducted within 96 hours prior to departure. Travellers are also requested to complete the online Immigration and Health self‑declaration form within 24 hours prior to arrival.
