Male’ Maldives — The Education Ministry of Maldives has announced that A level & AS level exams conducted by Edexcel have been scheduled to begin in April 26th of this year.
The Ministry released a statement informing that the sudden change brought to the exam time period was brought by Edexcel without consulting with the Ministry.
As several schools in the Maldives are still unable to completely cover the syllabus due to difficulties faced due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, the Ministry stated that they have attempted to change the scheduled date with the Edexcel, however, the attempts have so far been unsuccessful.
Following the change brought to the A level & AS level exams, the Education Ministry announced that they have decided to postpone the HSE exam date to a month from the scheduled A level & AS level exam time period from June 13th till June 17th.
