AEH, KRH, Police lab receives quality assurance validation by RCPA Australia

Malé, Maldives – Addu Equatorial Hospital (AEH) achieves successful validation for its PCR lab from the External Quality Assurance (EQA) program of The Royal College of Pathologists of Australia (RCPA) and WHO Maldives.

Kulhudhuffushi Regional Hospital and the Police laboratory received the validation as well.

The validation program was conducted by Australia’s RCPA to ensure quality of the PCR labs of the three health facilities. This quality assurance program was conducted in the Maldives with the assistance of WHO. AEH, KRH and Police laboratory passed the external quality assurance mechanism of RCPA.

They passed the external quality assurance mechanism of RCPA. This shows that our PCR tests are accurate and we maintain high quality.
