First Lady recovers from Covid-19

Malé, Maldives – First Lady, Fazna Ahmed has announced that she has recovered from Covid-19.

Presidents Office revealed on April 15, 2021 that First Lady Fazna Ahmed had tested positive for Covid-19.

On a Facebook post she made today, First Lady had told that she had fully recovered and thanked all the people who had wished for her good health.

Following the announcement of her being positive, Presidents Office had told that she remained in good health and that she was in self isolation. 

Presidents Office had also told on that day that President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih, their son and daughter tested negative for Covid-19. 

Fist Lady was found to be Covid-19 positive while her brother in law and Commissioner of Police, Mohamed Hameed also announced that he was positive for the virus and in isolation during the same week.
