Villa College to start free courses with student allowances

Malé, Maldives – Under the “Skills for a Resilient Workforce” program, Villa College has announced that they will be introducing free courses with allowances for students.

The courses introduced include National Certificate 3 in Inventory Management, Housekeeping, Lifeguarding, Watersports and Ticketing & Reservation. The duration of the courses is 16 weeks and are completely free of charge for participants.

These free courses also include a MVR 2,000 allowance.

In a press conference held at the Villa College QI Campus, Rector of Villa College Dr. Ali Najeeb stated that these free courses in Maldives is an important opportunity that would open many doors for the students in Maldives.

In the press conference, Center for Higher Studies Director Ali Shareef stated that these allowances will be a great help for students in completing the courses. He added that this will act as a push for many youngsters to participate in the programs.

The due date for applying for the courses is June 6, 2021. Application forms are available on the Villa College website as well.
