Kurinbee, HDh. Atoll – An Indian teacher working at Kurinbee island school has been found dead.
According to the local island council, the Indian biology teacher was found dead nearby the beach following a manhunt after she was reported to be missing.
Council President Abdul Faththaah has told that she had left her house around 20:00 and was found by another foreign teacher at around 20:45 at the beach. He told that the woman had already passed away when she was taken to the health center.
Faththaah also told that they had reported the case to the police, but due to bad weather in the northern atolls that police had not been able to travel to the island yet.
