Male’ Maldives – Minister of Economic Development Fayyaz Ismail revealed on Wednesday that assistance stimulus for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) was under development.
Making the announcement via Twitter, the minister stated that this stimulus was especially targeted at SME’s such as gyms, saloons, cafe’s, restaurants and more.
He went on to state that although work in under way, they are facing delays as “many in our team coming down with COVID.”
Due to the restrictive measures placed, SME’s have been suffering, with many going bankrupt.
