Gareth Bale won a penalty in the second half but missed the opportunity to finish off the game in the sixtieth minute by shooting the ball couple yards into the sky.

Turkey got multiple chances to level the game, but they weren’t clinical enough to change the outcome of the game. Burak Yilmaz, Turkey captain got the most chances of the game for his side.

Four players were cautioned by the referee as heavy confrontations began with Yilmaz flicking an injured Welsh player on the face while he was lying down waiting for medics.

Wale’s Ben Davies along with Mepham were shown yellow cards. Yilmaz and Hakan Calhangolu were among those who were cautioned on the Turkish side.

Wales scored their second goal of the game within the last few minutes of added time, Gareth Bale’s brilliance showed as he took the ball from the corner, dribbled passed into the box and found Roberts who had to simply tap in the box to make it 0-2.

With two games playes, Wales have 4 points and are currently on top of the table. However, if Italy wins their match against Switzerland, Italy will guarantee their place in the round of 16.
