England disappointed with a draw against Scots

England blew the chance to qualify to the round of 16 failing to win their match against Scotland.

The game ended in a goalless draw as neither side could take the advantage of the few chances they got. Best chance of the game fell to English center back, John Stones in the first half.

A corner whipped into the are, Stones rose for a free header but hit the post. Front man Raheem Sterling was also one of the players who got few good chances. Captain Harry Kane was once gain uninfluential, making him a substitute for Marcus Rashford in the second half.

Scotland’s best chance was the fast half volley shot by Stephen O’Donnell. England stopper Jordan Pickford was quick with the reactions to block the strong shot that came in between Shaw’s legs.

England still have a chance to qualify and win their group if they win the last match of group stage against Czech Republic. Currently they tops this group with from goal difference.
