Denmark has reached a major tournament semi finals for the first time since 1992 after beating Czech Republic in the quarters.

Denmark won the game 2-1, goals by Delaney and Dolber. Delaney opened the score line in the opening five minutes of the game. Dolberg added to the Danes’ favor on the 42nd minute of the game.

Czech Republic’s only game of the match was scored by the tournament’s leading goal scorer Patrik Schick. He is now tied to Portugal’s Ronaldo for the golden boot with five goals.

Failing to score another goal, Czech Republic, who made it to the quarters after beating Netherlands in the round of 16, are eliminated.

Denmark will play against the winner of tonight’s second quarter final match, England vs Ukraine in the semi finals.
