Male’, Maldives – Vice President of Maldives, Faisal Naseem on Wednesday held a meeting with Social Ethics Committee to discuss on the wide range of topics encompassing social ethics and values in the Maldives’ communities.
The focus of the meeting was mainly on holding programs for school children and their guardians, where they are enlightened on establishing lasting moral values and good discipline in the younger generations.
In the meeting, Vice President Faisal highlighted the importance of conducting programmes targeted at instructing children on social ethics from within the educational framework as well as outside. He stated that “Maldives’ communities must come together to sustain ethical values and bolster the social fabric.”
Vice President also mentioned that the President of Maldives, Ibrahim Mohamed Solih also underlines the importance of all government agencies collaborating to nurture positive social growth and to buttress communal ethics and integrity in the country.
