Malé, Maldives – MP of Kaashidhoo Constituency Abdullah Jabir on Tuesday, has protested infront of the Parliament building.
Jabir took part in the protest alone. While his wife Dhiyana also arrived at the scene and made efforts to convince Mp Jabir to return back, she remained unsuccessful with pleas from Jabir asking her to go away.
Mp Jabir first started protesting standing in the area and later sat down in front of the Parliament. He even lied down on the floor before leaving the area.
During his one man protest, the parliamentarian repeatedly called to summon President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih to the Parliament.
