Male’, Maldives – Former President and current speaker of Maldives, Mohamed Nasheed has stated that someone is impersonating him in Clubhouse and is attempting to create problems.
Speaker Nasheed tweeted to inform that his only account in Clubhouse is “mohamednasheed”, and that there is someone else in Clubhouse impersonating him. Speaker Nasheed requested the authorities to clear the matter.
In addition, Nasheed’s alleged alter ego Alex Ahmed also tweeted saying that someone is impersonating him on Clubhouse and the only account he has is in the name of “Anehdhivehi Raaje” and “Alex Ahmed” in Twitter and Facebook.
A message sent by Speaker Nasheed to the WhatsApp group of MDP members confirmed that the anonymous Twitter account “Anehdhivehi Raaje” that was suspected to have been an account of Speaker Nasheed is indeed an account of the Speaker.
