Addu City, Maldives – Environment Ministry this Monday held a meeting with the Addu City Council to discuss about the development projects of Addu City.

At the meeting, Environment Minister Aminath Shauna gave assurance that Addu City Council will receive full support in the development projects that are being carried out in the city along with those under Environment Ministry.

In addition to this, the Ministry and City Council also discussed on implementing the Nature Park Management Plan of Addu City, importance of protecting the environment, renewable energy, and ways to solve the flooding issues that the residents of Addu City face.

The meeting was held in the presence of three State Ministers of Environment Ministry, Deputy Ministers of Environment Ministry and the senior members of all the departments in the Ministry.
