Malé, Maldives — A 31 year old man was stabbed last night with a sharp-edged weapon in Hithadhoo, Addu City.
Sources inform that the individual was painting the walls of State Bank of India when he was attacked by a male who had his face covered. The incident was reported to the police at approximately 07:30 pm last night.
While the victim was immediately sent to the Addu Equatorial Hospital, the hospital informed local media outlets that the 31 year old was injured on multiple body parts.
Police has so far refrained from speaking about the incident.
