Malé, Maldives – Maldives Police is investigating a case filed last night regarding a taxi driver sexually assaulting an underage passenger.
The incident took place around 23:30 last night when a taxi driver sexually harrassed a 16 year old female passenger travelling alone. The driver allegedly dropped off the victim near Hulhumalé flats after the assault.
Police reported that they are currently investigating the matter and have not made any arrests as of this morning.
