JUST IN: Driver injured in police car crash

Laamu Atoll, Maldives – The police officer driving the police vehicle in the L. Gan car crash today has been taken to the hospital for treatment.

Police stated that the licensed driver received injuries during the crash and is now receiving treatment. Police confirm that there were no passengers in the crashed vehicle.

The Maldives Police Service have released no further information on the incident.
