Malé, Maldives – SriLankan Airlines have announced that the airline will be commencing international flights to 5 cities Gan International Airport located in Addu City starting next Saturday.
Travellers can now fly from Addu City to Colombo-Sri Lanka, Frankfurt-Germany, Kathmandu-Nepal, Dubai-UAE and Paris-France with transits in Sri Lanka.
The flights to these expanded international routes are scheduled weekly on Saturdays.
While this is the first time international travel is restarting from the southern most international airport in the Maldives, Gan International Airport informs that discussions are also in progress with other airlines.
