Malé, Maldives – The body of Afham Naseer (22) has been found this morning at Wellawatte beach in Sri Lanka.
Sri Lankan police report that the bodies are currently placed at the Kalubowila hospital mortuary. The Wellawatte police are investigating the case further.
The Dh. Kudahuvadhoo youth was last contacted at 01:00 on Friday.
While two unidentified bodies were found this morning, local news reports that one was the missing Afham Naseer. Afham’s body was found with major injuries including injuries to the neck area with heavy bleeding.
Afham was found with major bleeding 4km from his place of residence Dehiwala.
Friends started a search for the youth on social media after he was unreachable since late night.
