Malé, Maldives – Bank of Maldives (BML) has donated MVR 100,000 to Family Legal Clinic (FLC) to support its Legal Aid program which aims to provide legal assistance to individuals in need.
Through this, over 100 individuals will receive free legal help within the year and additional outreach and awareness programs will also be organized by the NGO, said the bank.
During a small ceremony held earlier on Thursday morning, the donation was handed over to Shafeea Riza, Co-Chairperson of the Family Legal Clinic by BML’s CEO and Managing Director, Tim Sawyer.
BML has been supporting the awareness and outreach programs conducted by FLC since 2019.
