Malé, Maldives – Bank of Maldives (BML) staff have today donated essential food items for the ‘Help a Family’ initiative organised by MOMS NGO, to support vulnerable families during Ramadan.
The donation will provide food assistance to support the NGO’s goal of helping 100 vulnerable families across Maldives. Staff extended their spirit of giving to positively impact the community through this initiative.
MOMS NGO commented “We expresses heartfelt gratitude to Bank of Maldives staff for their extraordinary and generous aid, and applaud their commitment to improve the lives and livelihood of the society.“
BML donated MVR 100,000 to the ARC AID program in 2021 to assist vulnerable families during Ramadan. In 2020, the Bank donated MVR 200,000 to assist vulnerable children during the Covid-19 pandemic. The funds were utilized to support over 500 children in 300 vulnerable families in 14 islands.
