Malé, Maldives – Maldives Monetary Authority (MMA) has issued Payment Provider’s Licenses to four additional parties on Thursday.
The service providers may provide the following services under the license,
- VTT Finance Pvt. Ltd. – License for services related to payment acquirement
- Global Permanent Asia Pacific Maldives Pvt. Ltd. – License for services related to payment acquirement
- Payer Pvt. Ltd. – License for money issuance
- Fahi Pay Pvt. Ltd. – License for money issuance
While the recent developments were received positively by the public, MMA stated that the licenses were intended to provide ease for the public.
