India – GoAir has temporarily halted flights from India to the Maldives due to the unavailability of slots at Indian airports.
The airline halted operations to the island destination and cancelled three flights to Maldives today.
Speaking to local news “Dhauru” GoAir agent said that the airline cancelled flights to a number of destinations including the Maldives owing to the unavailability of slots in Indian airports.
The official stated that the operations may resume on April 15.
While GoAir agent states this, the Communications Director of Foreign Ministry Miuvan Mohamed stated that the airline stopped operations due to the removal of the air travel bubble between the Maldives and India. He assured that travel will continue between India and the Maldives.
