Malé, Maldives – Minister of Youth, Sports and Community Empowerment Ahmed Mahloof announced on Thursday that two futsal pitches will be developed in Maafushi prison for prison officers and prisoners.
With the announcement, the Youth Minister stated that opportunities for sports and exercise must be provided for individuals serving prison sentences.
In addition to Maafushi Prison, the ministry also announced tender for the Th. Thimarafushi futsal pitch.
