Malé, Maldives – Maldives National Defence Force continues the search for veteran diver Mohamed Saeed (35) reported missing since 15:36 on Monday.
Saeed’s companion Mahmood Faiz is currently being treated for decompression sickness at Kandima Maldives resort.
The two divers went diving at the Fuvahmulah “Tiger Shark” diving point at 14:30 yesterday with tourists. Saeed is a diver centre owner with 20 years of experience.
MNDF rescue services report that two harbour crafts were dispatched yesterday and have covered 55nm with no results. Dornier Aircraft is dispatched today to join the search.
