Malé, Maldives – Maldives Meteorological Center has issued a yellow alert warning for the northern atolls Haa Alifu and Haa Dhaalu of Maldives.
The atolls are under yellow alert caution from 10:00 to 14:00 during which strong gusts of wind going up to 25-30 miles per hour and rough seas are expected.
This comes in addition to the white alert issued for atolls spanning from Haa Alifu to Thaa Atoll until 14:30 of today.
Given the bad weather and subsequent rough seas, sea travellers are advised to exercise caution and take precautionary measures when out at sea.
