Addu City, Maldives – Maldives Police Service has arrested two locals over a bomb threat at Gan International Airport in Addu City.
The 61 year old man and 58 year old woman were arrested after claiming to have a bomb in their belongings.
Following the threat, Maldives National Defence Force officers checked the belongings of the two travelers but no such items were discovered. Police are investigating the matter further.
