Malé, Maldives – Foreign Minister Abdulla Shahid holds bilateral discussions with Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary, Péter Szijjártó.
The meeting was carried out at Fathulla Jameel Building in Malé City.
The Hungarian Foreign Minister arrived in the Maldives today on an Official visit, on the invitation of his counterpart in Maldives, Abdulla Shahid.
During this visit, Minister Szijjártó will pay a courtesy call on the President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih.
Minister Szijjártó is also set to sign three agreements between Maldives and Hungary.
This is the first Official visit from a Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary. Foreign Ministry stated that this marks an important milestone in the 47 year long bilateral relationship between the Maldives and Hungary.
