Hulhumalé, Maldives – A police car parked in the HDC building area of Hulhumalé was set on fire last night.
A police spokesman said a report was received at 7:40 am that a car had been set on fire in the parking area. However, the fire was soon extinguished, he said.
It is learned that the car was not damaged beyond repair.
“The matter is being investigated,” the official said.
