Late entry for the RunSwim event due to be held on 15th of November ends today at 00:00.
Although applications were due on the 25th of this month, a late entry option was opened up due to popular demand, says organizing party MLA.
While the event has different categories where participants of various age groups would have to run and then swim different distances specific to their age category, all participants would start and end both components of their race at the swimming track at Hithadhoo.
In order to make the race easier for the participants, the race allows participants to bring a partner, where one would complete the run and the other completes the swim, much like a relay race, however only for some categories.
Age categories include Under 6, Under 8, Under 10, Under 12, Under 14, Under 16 as well as Master Level 1 and 2. The participation fee of the race is 250/- per participant, however, if you bring a partner, each participant has to pay 200/- only.
