Real fails to take advantage of Barca’s loss

Real Madrid failed to take the advantage of Barcelona losing last night’s match of the Spanish League, by not being able to score a goal, leading to a draw against Betis.

Barcelona lost against Levante 3-1, which got the team 22 points, the same as Real Madrid, after 11 matches each. However, Barca managed to scrape away with a lead having have scored more goals than Real.

The lead of last night’s match played in Levante was secured by Barca when Messi scored by making use of a penalty kick received by the team at the 38th minute.

However, Levante came back with a strong fight, surprising Barca with 3 goals in the second half. The goals were scored by José Campaña, Borja Mayoral and Nemanja Radoja.

While Real failed to take advantage of the opportunity to get ahead of Barca on the leader board, a total of 22 shots were attempted by the team, which were defended by Betis’ goal keeper.

Barca will play against Celtavigo during the next match and Real against Eibar.
