Export of onions to the Maldives will no cease, announced the Indian Embassy.
In a tweet sent out, the Embassy stated that the country will not cease their export of onions in the Maldives following the 100 thousand tonnes of onions sent to the Maldives recently and that there would be no restrictions in doing so.
In the months of September and October, export of onions had been ceased by India due to the unavailability of it, which resulted in soaring prices of the vegetable during that time.
