The government of Pakistan has issued a media statement declaring the former Prime Minister of the country, Nawaz Sharif as an absconder.
The three-time Prime Minister has been declared so on Wednesday for failing to meet the bail requirements of submitting his medical reports from his doctors in London. Due to this, the government of Pakistan has decided to not extend Sharif’s bail and declared him an absconder.
This decision was taken at a meeting of the federal cabinet presided over by Prime Minister Imran Khan.
Sharif left for London in November of last year after the Lahore High Court granted him permission to leave the country on medical grounds for four weeks.
