Male’, Maldives – HPA confirmed that a total of additional 16 cases were confirmed for the Covid-19 in Maldives.
HPA confirmed that, in the past 24 hours, an additional 37 confirmed cases of:
- 08 Maldivians
- 06 Bangladeshis
- 01 Indian
Counting these 16 cases, the total number of confirmed cases in Maldives is now at 2,203. Currently among these cases, there are only 387 active cases remaining in Maldives.
While 16 people were confirmed for the virus today, 15 has completely recovered from it. At present 1,803 people have recovered from the virus in Maldives.
Compared to the past three days, the most number of positive cases were confirmed today. Yesterday alone, 37 people were confirmed to be positive for the virus.
Up to date, 8 have passed away from the virus in Maldives. The deceased are 4 Maldivian nationals and 4 Foreign Nationals.
While there are 305 people held in Isolation facilities, 147 are in quarantine facilities.
