Addu City, Hithadhoo – Health Protection Agency (HPA) has announced that all schools of Hithadhoo will remain closed for the next two days.
Following a positive case being identified in Hithadhoo, Addu City on Sunday morning, the district has been placed under monitoring status until further notice, for the duration of the contact tracing period.
Apart from schools, the Addu campus of Maldives National University has also opted for online classes until further notice.
During this time any people from other districts of the city may leave for their homes, and medical arrangements will be open, revealed HPA. The Agency revealed that consultation arrangements will be made by Addu City Council, however, the arrangements have not been made public yet.
