Male’, Maldives – National carrier of India, Air India prepares to resume scheduled flights to Maldives this Friday.
According to the passenger sales agent of Air India, Villa Travels, the airline will be making two trips between Male’ and Trivandrum on a weekly basis. The carrier will also make trips between Male’ and New Delhi as well, Villa revealed.
The flights will be on every Tuesday and Friday.
India contributes to the tourism industry of the Maldives immensely, with more than 80,000 tourist arrivals from the country in the Maldives in 2019 alone.
