Male’, Maldives – A man has been arrested for sexually abusing three minors, in an atoll within the South Central Police Division.
Police revealed that a 45 year old male was arrested after the court issued an arrest warrant, following a complaint made to the station on the 25th of August. The complaint detailed that the man had sexually abused three minors, including his ow daughter.
When summoned to court, it was ordered that he be held in remand until the end of the investigation in to the matter.
The atolls within the South Central Police Division are Laamu and Thaa Atoll. Police are now investigating the matter.
