Malé, Maldives – A 19 year old man has been arrested in a Northern Atoll of Maldives for sexually abusing two minors.
Police revealed that a complaint was filed with the authority, accusing the man of sexually abusing 13 and 11 year old girls. It was further added a court order for his arrest was issued last Wednesday, and that he is now held in remand for 10 days regarding the matter.
The matter is currently under investigation by Maldives Police Service and the Ministry of Gender, Family and Social Services.
