Ukulhas, Maldives – A woman in home quarantine at AA. Ukulhas has passed away.
The woman, who was in a travel related quarantine period of 14 days passed away during the late hours of last night, at age 66.
It is reported that the woman had a heart surgery two days back and that she traveled to the island following her initial Covid-19 tests coming back negative, at IGMH.
Despite this, Health Protection Agency (HPA) will still test her body for the virus as protocol during the pandemic.
So far no positive cases have been recorded from the island.
