Thilafushi, Maldives – Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has started working on rehabilitating the waste yard at Thilafushi.
It was revealed by the company that a total of 10 percent of the work required to be done in the area has been completed. This includes the 30 percent of work done on establishing a drainage system and 15 percent of the work done to create a driving space.
It was further added that by the end of the project, a building for civil and metal work will be completed, along with a water storage facility.
The project was handed over to MTCC by the Ministry of National Planning and Infrastructure, and is estimated to be worth MVR 8.8 million.
