Covid-19: 85% patients in Maldives have recovered

Male’, Maldives – Eighty five percentage of individuals who tested positive for Covid-19 in the Maldives have made a full recovery from the virus.

Information made available on the Covid-19 dashboard of Health Ministry shows that out of the 9770 patients who tested positive for the coronavirus, 8390 have now recovered, keeping the recovery rate of the country at 85.88%.

Although Maldives saw an extreme surge in the number of daily positive cases in the past month, the numbers have tipped down in the past week, with only 46 cases on Monday itself.

Currently there are 1340 active cases of Covid-19 in the Maldives, which account for 96 patients who are hospitalized.

To this day, 34 patients have passed away due to the virus in Maldives.
