K.Kohdhihparu, Maldives- A launch travelling with 26 passengers has been stranded on a reef.
MNDF revealed that the “Kalhihi” launch of MTCC was stranded on a reef near K.Kohdhipparu and that coast guard of MNDF Male’ area attended the scene to assist the crew and passengers.
None of the crew or passengers of the vessel are reported to have been injured. It was revealed that they had taken refuge on a near by sandbank until help came.
The incident was reported at around 6:48 pm, MNDF revealed.
