Kulhudhuffushi, Maldives – Health Protection Agency (HPA) has placed Haa Dhaalu Kulhudhuffushi on monitoring status.
In a notice issued on Friday night at 20:45, HPA notified the city council of Kulhudhuffushi that the island has been placed under monitoring status until further notice, effective 25th September, 2020.
While no specific reason was revealed as the cause of the move, it was generally revealed that the island has been put on lock down to verify certain aspects pertaining to Covid-19 in the island.
During this time, any unauthorized travel in and out of the island is prohibited.
No further information has been made available with regards to the matter.
