United and Chelsea saved at the death

Premier League was as dramatic as it can get on Saturday evening, Man United beat Brighton after the full time whistle was blown, Tammy Abraham saved Frank Lampard’s horror evening equalizing at the brink of death.

Gameweek started with Brighton hosting Man United which United won 3-2. Neil Maupay scored a cheeky penalty in the 40th minute after completely dominating the United side. However, United took nearly 3 minutes to eqaulize with Bruno crossing a long ball into the wider area of the box, which Nemanja Matic crossed infront of the goal line turning it into the net by Captain Harry Maguire.

More drama continued in the second half as Brighton got an early penalty just at the start of second half which was later overturned after referee used the help of VAR to decide the penalty he gave was too soft.

Marcus Rashford immediately scored for United which again needed VAR to determine he was in an offside position to score. Rashford scored to take the lead for United, minutes later beating 3 Brighton defenders to score a fantastic solo goal.

After United took the lead, Brighton once again got their form back, continuous pressure for the United defense. Brighton hit the woodwork 5 times in this game however they equalized in the extra minutes of the first half scored by March.

United’s last chance of the game, a cross went into the box which didn’t land on any United players. However, there was complaints of the ball hitting Brighton’s Maupay in the arm. Referee blew the whistle for the game to be over but he checked the incident after full time and decided to give United a Penalty.

Bruno Fernandes scored from the box to give United the toughest fought 3 points in his United career.

Frank Lampard’s Chelsea faced newly promoted West Brom Albion last night. West Brom shocked Chelsea, scoring 3 goals in the half time. Robinson scored twice in 25 minutes, Bartley scoring in the 27th minute.

Chelsea came on the second half with an impossible task to complete. Mason Mount helped the cause, scoring 10 minutes after the break and West Brom were put into pressure. Callum Hudson-Odoi scored for Chelsea in the 70th minute and it was Tammy Abraham saving the day with the last minute equalizer in late late stoppage time of the match.
