Male’, Maldives – The United Arab Emirates has donated two sanitization trucks to the Maldives.
In a tweet sent out by the Foreign Minister of Maldives Abdullah Shahid, this aid by the UAE will prove to be a great support in strengthening the response of the country to fight the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. He also thanked UAE for the donation.
The two trucks are currently in Hulhumale’.

UAE has been a great ally of Maldives in fighting the Covid-19 pandemic, with the country having have donated medical equipment worth MVR 77.3 million to the Maldives in June. These included PCR machines, extraction kits, PPE, test kits and sanitizers.
