K.Thilafushi, Maldives – Maldives Islamic Bank has opened and started providing their services via an ATM centre in K.Thilafushi on Thursday.
The ATM centre is located in front of the Thilafushi harbor and was opened by the CEO of MIB, Ahmed Riza and Managing Director of Greater Male’ Industrial Zone, Ibrahim Rasheedh.
MIB revealed that the ATM would have all services of the bank available as any other ATM of the bank..
This is the first ATM opened in Thilafushi, an industrial island employing hundred of people. According to MIB the service is being provided on the request of GMIZ.
Including this ATM, Maldives Islamic Bank has opened a total of 18 ATMs across the country.
There are currently 5 ATMs of MIB operating in Male’ with more in Hulhumale’ and Hulhule’ as well. MIB said that they are working to open another ATM in Hulhumale’ soon.
